Warranty
Mist Fine Jewelry warrants our jewelry from manufacturer defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase as long as you allow only a Mist approved jeweler to work on the item. Manufacturer defects are defined as defects in workmanship. If within that time you experience any manufacturer defect not caused by normal wear, we will gladly repair or replace the piece at our discretion. If the piece is not available, a similar piece of equal value may be chosen. This warranty is the benefit of the original purchaser of the item. It is not transferable to a third party unless gifted within a family.
To ensure a lifetime of trouble-free wear, please bring your jewelry to us every six months for a free cleaning and inspection. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that their jewelry is regularly maintained and cared for to prevent any damage resulting from normal wear.
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover jewelry that has been abused or worn out of expectations for normal, everyday wear. Examples include garbage disposal mishaps and accidental run ins with your car tire and driveway. It is the sole discretion of Mist to determine if jewelry has been abused or worn out of expectations of normal, everyday wear. The customer is responsible for any damage resulting from normal wear. This warranty also excludes coverage for loss of gemstones, product loss, theft, jewelry that has been stored or handled incorrectly, or jewelry that has been abused, altered, and treated with the wrong cleaning methods. Coverage also excludes damage or loss caused by a failure to obtain the repairs required to preserve the integrity of the jewelry.
14-Day Return Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your jewelry purchase, you may return your item within 14 days for an exchange or store credit. Merchandise must be unused, undamaged, with original tags attached, and in salable condition. It is the sole discretion of Mist to determine if returned items have been used or if they are in salable condition. Mist will inspect the item upon receiving your return. Please note that items showing signs of wear or those that have been engraved, altered, resized, or damaged in any way are considered non-salable and will not be accepted for return. After the item has been accepted, you will be issued a store credit excluding any shipping, handling, insurance, and/or labor charges. The following items are nonreturnable due to their personalized nature: items that have been modified, engraved, or resized; items that have previously been exchanged; and custom designed jewelry. We do not offer cash refunds.
Returns made after 14 days will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
